We’re heading back to Hy-Vee for another day of "Sacking for Tips!" This is a fantastic way for our athletes to engage with the community and for the Viking Touchdown Club to fuel the upcoming season. We need a full roster of volunteers to make this a success.

VIKING FOOTBALL FEST: THE SEASON STARTS HERE!
Get ready for the 2026 Viking Football Fest! Formally known as the Watermelon Scrimmage, this action-packed event is the ultimate way to ignite excitement for the upcoming season.
Watch our Varsity Vikings in action as they hit the field to prepare for the gridiron. For our future Vikings, this is your moment to shine! Youth players will have the unique opportunity to participate in warm-up drills alongside the high school team and showcase their own skills in scrimmages against other KCFC-West teams and the Middle School Wildcats.
It’s a day of community, camaraderie, and a true celebration of Shawnee Mission West Football. Whether you're a player, a parent, or a fan from Overland Park or Lenexa, come out and help us kick off the season with Viking Pride!

Viking Football Cornhole Tournament
Come out for some fun and friendly competition at the first annual VTC Cornhole Tournament! This family-friendly event is a great way to support the Shawnee Mission West football program. Join us on Saturay, September 26th, from 1–4 PM at Limitless Brewing in Lenexa.
Great prizes awarded to the top finishers. Beverages and food will be available for purchase.
Even if you don't want to play, come hang out and enjoy the atmosphere! It's a great opportunity to connect with other Shawnee Mission West families and show your Viking pride.

Player Pool Party
Ready to cool off and connect? Join your fellow Viking Football players for a fun evening at the Oak Hill Neighborhood Pool on Thursday, June 13th, from 9 PM to 10:45 PM. It's the perfect opportunity to get to know your teammates and build camaraderie before the season kicks into high gear. We can't wait to see you there!
